My 4th baby. My most different postpartum journey yet. 💛 I delivered my fourth baby on May 8th, and just 48 hours later, I made the decision to commit to taking care of me during my postpartum recovery. This pregnancy took a lot out of me. I struggled with severe brain fog, extremely low energy, and terrible sleep. I was waking up nearly every hour throughout the night and never truly felt rested. Mentally and physically, I knew my body needed support. Less than four months into my postpartum journey, I have: Lost 45 pounds Dropped my visceral fat by 6 levels Lost only 1 pound of muscle mass Gone from constant brain fog to feeling mentally clear ✨ Gone from extremely low energy to having consistent energy throughout my entire day ✨ Gone from waking every hour to experiencing some of the deepest, most restorative sleep I’ve had But this journey has been about so much more than the numbers. Having a supportive community surrounding me and consistent accountability alongside me has made such a difference. I haven’t had to navigate postpartum or my health journey alone. After four pregnancies, I can confidently say this postpartum experience has felt completely different. I’m incredibly thankful I decided just 48 hours after delivery that my health deserved to be a priority too. I didn’t just want to lose the pregnancy weight. I wanted my energy, clarity, strength, sleep, and health back. And less than four months later, I am feeling more like myself again. 💛

It all started when I was 240 pounds. I was exhausted. Inflamed. Dealing with pain, brain fog, autoimmune diseases, high blood pressure and other health issues. I had a torn hamstring, and honestly, I didn't feel like myself anymore. I was busy taking care of everyone else. I was a wife. A mom. An educator. I showed up for everyone. But somewhere along the way… I stopped showing up for me. And I remember wondering if this was just how life was supposed to feel as I got older. Was I always going to be exhausted? Was the pain just part of aging? Was this simply my life now? In January 2022, I made a decision. Not because I had everything figured out. Not because I wasn't scared. And definitely not because I knew how much my life was about to change. I just knew I couldn't keep living the way I was living. So I started. One choice at a time. One day at a time. And over the next eight months, I lost 110 pounds. But let me tell you something… The weight loss wasn't the greatest part of my transformation. Yes, my body changed. But so did everything else. I found my energy again. I found confidence. I found strength I never knew I had. I started doing things I never imagined I would do. And today, at 57 years old, I am stronger than I've ever been physically and mentally. But please don't think this journey has been easy or perfect. I've dealt with injuries. Menopause. Stress. Exhaustion. And this past year, my family's home was destroyed by a tornado. Suddenly, life was anything but normal. No routine. No gym. No kitchen. No normal schedule. And I had to remind myself of everything this journey had taught me. Progress over perfection. Because taking care of my health doesn't mean everything in my life has to be perfect. It means I keep showing up when I can. I make the next best choice. I don't quit because life gets hard. And that's really what my story is about. It's not just about losing 110 pounds. It's about gaining my life back. It's about becoming stronger. Healthier. More confident. More present. And realizing that getting older doesn't mean my best years are behind me. Honestly? I believe some of my best years are happening right now. So if you're sitting there exhausted… Feeling uncomfortable in your body… Wondering if it's too late… Wondering if you can really change… I want you to know something. I understand. Because I've been there. And if I can change my life one decision at a time… Maybe you can too. ❤️

This is me in a past life. 100% real. The memories I have are real too. One of the happiest & most blessed times of my life… but that dark cloud was always with me. That one area I just couldn’t conquer. It’s painful remembering the feelings attached to this picture. Makes me mad at myself for letting it go so long. The worst part is I KNEW WHAT TO DO! And I swear I tried. I really did. With all my heart. Every time I made the decision to change, I MEANT IT!!!! But for whatever reason, I just couldn’t put it all together. All the fitness pros out there on social media shouting the solution… JUST BE DISCIPLINED! COUNT YOUR MACROS! QUIT EATING ALL THAT JUNK!! JUST GET IT TOGETHER!! WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU??? Not helpful. The truth is I was yelling ALL those same things at myself too. Every day. For 10 years!! I promised myself I’d do better tomorrow. Then I’d fail. It tore me up inside. Have you ever felt what it’s like to live in defeat every day? But TRY to hide it so your wife and kids don’t know how much you’re hurting? Or try to hide it with humor so your friends don’t know the battle you’re fighting every day? Let’s be honest. We all KNOW what to do. I knew all about discipline and macros and exercise and strength training and calorie deficits and all the supplements. That stuff isn’t complicated. I just wasn’t doing what I knew I should. And I knew it was my fault. To this day, I can’t tell you why. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I just couldn’t seem to put it all together during that season of my life. But… I’m thankful the story didn’t end there. I’m disciplined NOW. I honor commitments to myself NOW. I don’t eat junk NOW (most of the time). I take the supplements NOW. I work out daily NOW. I own my health NOW!! But back then… I needed a BRIDGE. I needed simplicity. I needed a coach who actually cared. I needed a community that understood. I needed structure that didn’t require a calculus degree to track. I needed something I could still do on my worst day. I needed something that worked for real life. Knowing what to do was never the problem. DOING it was the problem. So next time you’re judging someone who isn’t as fit or “healthy” as you are, remember this… they are judging themselves even more than you are. But they just can’t seem to conquer it. And it’s killing them inside. That’s who we created Trilivy for. For the 99%. For me. For the rest of us. 🫶🏼

The first picture was me before I decided I was done accepting “this is just what happens as you get older.” I lost 33 pounds in about 9 weeks. But the weight loss ended up being only a small part of what changed. What I learned along the way: Weight loss was never really the finish line. Health optimization was. For years, I think I had accepted certain things as normal. Reflux medication. Sleep issues. Knee pain. Rising health markers. Less energy. Carrying more visceral fat than I should. I figured some of it was just age. It wasn’t. As the weight came off, so many other things started changing too. My cholesterol dropped from 200 to 148 in about six weeks. My knee pain disappeared. I stopped taking my reflux medication in my second week. My sleep improved. My energy came back. And more than three years later, I’ve maintained that transformation within a pretty small range while continuing to work on becoming healthier. That last part matters to me. I don’t really like the word “maintenance,” because I’m not trying to stay exactly where I am. I’m trying to optimize. Now I think about visceral fat, muscle, strength, sleep, movement, metabolic health and what I can do at 53 to give myself the best chance of feeling amazing at 63, 73 and beyond. Losing the weight changed my body. Learning how to take control of my health changed the direction of my life. And that is what ultimately led me to coaching others through the same process.

Left photo was me July 5th 2020. I lost the weight… but more importantly, I fixed what caused it. And I’m healthier now than when I “hit my goal.” What I learned along the way... 👉🏼 Weight loss isn’t the goal. 👉🏼 A healthy metabolism is. We lose 20–40+lbs and then spend the rest of our lives terrified of gaining it back. That’s not freedom. What changed everything for me was rebuilding my metabolic health… how my body uses food, manages stress, builds muscle, and actually works again! THAT’S the real game changer!! And that’s exactly why the weight stayed off, my energy improved, I can now focus on building muscle instead of fighting fat, and my health keeps leveling up instead of sliding backward I lost 8points of visceral fat. 40lbs in 2 months There’s a path forward. And it’s not starvation, punishment, or guessing.
