The 6-Step Business Blueprint
Welcome to the Business Blueprint
Choose the path for your potential lead.
Step 1 is the same for both paths
Potential Client Path
Step 4: Follow Up — After the Share / Health Assessment
Follow-up is a scheduled time to get back with a person who has shown interest but has not yet decided to engage as a client. You're looking for a MATCH between what they're looking for and what we offer.
Potential Client Path — Follow Up
Only 3 Possibilities After a Share / Health Assessment
Sign them up and get them started → move to Start Up
Schedule a Follow-Up within 24–48 hours
Ask permission to stay connected
Follow-up is time sensitive!
Set an appointment to speak with your candidate within 24–48 hours after the Health Assessment. If you wait too long, your potential client may lose interest.
Follow-Up Must Be a Real Conversation
A face-to-face conversation
Speaking via Zoom
Talking on the telephone
Mindset
Positive Expectation
Expect your potential client to join you. Visualize them as if they're already involved. You're looking for the MATCH — but if it isn't there, don't try to talk people into it.
How to Be Present
Be upbeat and positive. Don't assume they understood what you covered. Focus on what they want, try to find the MATCH, and ask empathetic questions that help paint a picture of how the program can improve their lives.
Assist in Their Decision
Awaken their reasons to do it. When their reasons to do it outweigh their reasons not to do it, they'll do it.
Follow-Up vs. Start-Up
A follow-up is for undecided candidates — it can turn into a start-up when the person decides to engage. A start-up is a scheduled time set aside to go over the details of what to do next with someone who has already decided to engage as a client.
"What do I do right now to win?"
Every step above answers that question.
